Welcome back to Ahman30.com.

I have been busy (it has been a good busy) with my training facility D1 Green Bay and my partners at Ballin Hospital (also partners with the Packers). I am lucky to catch on with such a great group; Dr. McKenzie, Chris Woleske and Mary Hiltunen were great getting the partnership deal in place.  I have been doing this since October 1st.

I also have been working with WFRV channel the CBS local here in Green Bay.  I did last season’s “The Locker Room Show” with Burke Griffin on Monday nights and the pre-game show “Green and Gold Nation “on Sunday mornings.  The Locker Room show consisted on me, Burke and a Packer player talking Packer football for a half hour.  It went well; we had a good little following.  I hope we can keep the momentum going this upcoming season.  I am looking forward to doing WFRV again.

In mid-June I am going to start my internship with the Packers, possible coaching job after the internship.  I am going into it open-minded and eager to learn the coaching aspects of football.  It will be interesting to learn stuff about the organization that I didn’t see as player.  This will be fun to learn.  I will be there for a couple weeks in June and the first week of training camp.  Training camp I know very well as player, I am looking forward to training camp as a coaches’ intern viewpoint.  I am very excited to have this opportunity as an intern with the Packers.

Getting involved with community work in the Green Bay area is a passion of mine.  I have been helping out organizations, foundations and charities.  I like to help out anywhere I can.  I have been advocating awareness to bullying; one event was done through D1 training.  The message at the event was not to bully and bully prevention.  My experience as kid is that I actually stood up to a bully in grade school; it was proud moment for me.  I let the kids know it is OK to speak up for themselves and their friends.  Don’t be afraid to stand-up and tell somebody; a parent, teacher.  The sooner you tell somebody about the problem the better and don’t wait! I am firm believer in the bully prevention.

Talk to you soon
