I am working hard this offseason, as always, to train and prepare for next season. I am excited to continue my career in the NFL and believe I can definitely make a positive impact. I am about 90% sure that I will be back with the Packers next season, as long as everything goes well this offseason. I am training and staying in good physical shape so I can come out even stronger next year. I am working out at House of Speed in Green Bay to keep up my quickness and power. I have been training there for two weeks and I definitely feel positive results already. I have been using the time off to relax and spend some quality time with my family and friends. I am also taking care of some things around the house to get cleaned up.
The Super Bowl in Miami was an incredible game to watch and I want to congratulate the Saints on their victory! The city of New Orleans deserves the win because they have been through so much in the last few years. It is great to see the city so excited and happy for their team. The community needed the burst of life the Saints provided, and I am sure the city will continue to celebrate and enjoy this moment for years to come. The franchise has been waiting decades for their championship, so it is great to see a team win the Super Bowl who deserves it as much as New Orleans.
The Saints played a terrific game on offense and defense and held the Colts to only 17 points. The recovered onside kick to start the second half was a crucial turning point in the game because it gave the Saints the momentum and allowed them to score first in the second half. The Saints’ defense did a great job controlling Peyton Manning’s big play options and limited Peyton to only one TD. Joseph Addai played a great game as well, scoring a TD and coming up with multiple first down runs. It was a great game to watch as a football fan because it came down to the very end. The Saints sealed the victory with the pick of Manning late in the fourth quarter to go up by two touchdowns. New Orleans will be celebrating for weeks to come, and they deserve every minute of it.
The Saints did a great job of making the big plays and limiting the Colts’ weapons. Dwight Freeney’s injury was a major factor because he was not able to put pressure on Drew Brees and the Saints’ offense. Freeney had a few strong rushes in the first quarter, but he was limited after that because of his injury. The Saints’ defense also did a great job covering Reggie Wayne and the Colts’ receivers. Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne both had a few important catches, but for the most part, the Saints’ D controlled the passing game. I am very excited for next season. Hopefully we can bring the Super Bowl trophy back to Green Bay!
