Big Win on Monday Night Football over the Ravens
We were able to come out with a big 27-14 win on Monday Night Football over the Baltimore Ravens and improve our record to 8-4. I am very happy with the overall performance of our team on the big stage. I was able to get some strong carries towards the end of the game and secure the win. I was excited to get in the game and have a few key carries, along with some important pass blocking plays. We are looking strong as a team during our 4 game winning streak, but there is always room to improve from week to week.
I am very used to playing an important role in the offense, so last night was nothing that I have not experienced before. I am continuing to play the role of one of the veteran leaders on the team. I am staying patient and making sure that I am prepared for any role or situation that I am placed in. My job is to be ready when I am called upon, and I definitely felt like I played well last night and helped to solidify our playoff positioning. The Ravens are a very physical and skilled team, so we needed to come out strong and prove we could handle the physical game. We have a few tough games remaining this year, so we will continue to practice hard and make sure we are prepared each week for our next opponent. The only road block to a playoff spot will be ourselves. As long as we continue to play smart Packer football, I do not see a reason why we won’t make a strong playoff run.
We have a tough game this coming Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Whenever we play the Bears, the stage is elevated because it becomes a rivalry game with implications for the division standings. We cannot let up at any point during these next few games, especially against high quality opponents. The Bears are physical, like the Ravens, so we will prepare similarly for this Sunday’s game. I am looking forward to the game because it gives us another chance to prove our skill and show the rest of the league how strong we have become. Even though it is a shortened week because of the Monday night game, I am confident that we will be able to bounce back and show up on Sunday with no negative effects. All teams are used to playing on a shortened week, so we definitely do not have any excuses.
Thanks to all my fans who were at the game last night or were rooting from home! Go Packers!
