It's My Time To Dance!
I had a lot of fun on Sunday and I have to give credit to our offensive linemen and our blockers. We had a great scheme working against Miami and stuck with it. It was fun out there.
Getting back from the injuries, I felt fine. I felt great. On my touchdown run (70 yards in the fourth quarter), I followed my fullback and get on top of the safety and when that happened, I knew I was gone. Reaching the end zone made me feel so good. I wanted to start dancing, but then Donald Driver jumped me, along with a bunch of other guys.
I want to send out the notice: I'm going to do a little dance when I score from now on. It's something I have never done in my career, but I'm going to start. It's not to mock the other team or poke fun at them. I have respect for everybody on the field. I just want to laugh a little bit, have some fun. I've always been one of those guys who takes things so seriously, but I'd like to change that now.
I don't know why I'm suddenly deciding to make that change. I see Brett Favre and the guys laughing and joking and it's kind of rubbed off on me, maybe. All I know is that I'm having fun and that I'm happy to be back on the field.
I see our young offensive linemen improving every week. It's very satisfying. I've always been a patient person and I know what those guys are going through. It takes a lot to play at this level. Those guys are working hard and improving.
We have Arizona this week. We have to keep it going, keep winning and keep everybody happy in the locker room. I want to smile. I want to have fun, and if I can get into the end zone, I want to dance.
