Houston, Texas (AHN) - Ahman Green will be returning to the Texan's lineup, after missing most of last season due to a knee injury.
The nine year veteran was signed by the Texans to a four-year $23 million contract in 2007. Unfortunately, his season was cut short after six games due to his injury.
This is the second time he's had to miss more than half a season due to an injury, the first time was in 2005, with the Packers.
Green has played in almost every game since he was drafted in 1998 though he only started for his first time in 2000.
He has rushed for 8,751 yards, averaging 4.5 yards a carry, though in 2003-04, and 2004-05, he gained a reputation for being fumble-prone.
Green having lost the ball a combined total of 14 times in those seasons.
The lean 6Ɔ, 218 pound spiderback ties Bo Jackson as being one of the only two people to ever make two 90 yard touchdown rushs in their careers.
