Trouble Stopping Green
Sunday, August 26, 2007
Wade Phillips said the Cowboys' defeat was a product of failing to run the ball well and letting the Texans run it too well. He singled out Ahman Green, in his first season with the Texans.
"Ahman's a tough runner, and we haven't played anybody who can run through tackles the way he did," Phillips said.
Green gained 65 yards on just eight carries as Houston outgained the Cowboys on the ground 142-57.
"(The Texans) were just more intense than we were," he said. "It's harder to run the football on the road."
