Running back Ahman Green, who last season rushed for 1,175 yards in his first season with the Green Bay Packers, has signed the one-year tender offer worth $1.115 million.
Green is the second restricted free agent to re-sign with the team. Kick return specialist Allen Rossum signed his one-year, $512,000 tender offer last month.
There's a chance the Packers would consider signing one or both to long-term deals before the end of the 2001 season.
The Packers still haven't officially signed their three remaining restricted free agent -- receiver Corey Bradford, safety Scott McGarrahan and offensive lineman Mike Wahle -- to their tender offers, but Packers director of finance Andrew Brandt said that will be done soon.
