Packers player Ahman Green says he plans to teach after his football career is over.
33-year-old Green is looking toward the future. The free agent is working with East De Pere High helping mentor students as he pursues his teaching degree in geography.
"I've been in a lot of at risk classes, special ed classes, just talking with kids and just getting them understand once you get out of high school you got to be ready for the real world,” Green says. “This is how you do it.”
Green says he was inspired to get in the classroom by his 7th grade geography teacher.
The 13 season NFL player could retire if he’s not signed on with a team this season.
