Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Ron Dayne carried 21 times for 122 yards and one touchdown as Houston held on to best Oakland, 24-17, at McAfee Coliseum.

On the Texans' opening drive, Green broke through the line on a shovel pass from Rosenfels for a 53-yard gain on 3rd-and-18. Rosenfels later called his own number to convert a 4th-and-1 from the Oakland five, then two plays later, Green found the end zone on an eight-yard run.
